This ring is made using the centrifugal casting method. First, a wax model is sculpted to the correct ring size. Then the wax ring is embedded in a special gibs and melted out. The liquid metal is then poured in the centrifuge. The sprues that were poured out with it are sawed off in the next step. Finally, the ring surface is machined. The ring rail from the inside, as well as the seal are polished to a high gloss and the side walls are matted.
